West Ham star and Chelsea target delivers worrying news about his contract extension

West Ham United star, Michail Antonio, who is reportedly a target of Chelsea, has commented on the transfer speculation linking him with a move away from the Hammers and it is likely to not sit well with fans of the London club.

After arriving at the London club for just £7 million from Nottingham Forest in 2015, Antonio has impressed many and arguably been West Ham’s best player – which has led to speculation linking him with a move to London rivals Chelsea.

Antonio revealed to Sky Sports HQ that, “Right now, nothing is really happening on the contract talks. We’ll just see how things go. At the moment my head is not being swayed in any way. I just want to play my football and whatever happens, happens.”

An offer from Chelsea is surely to attract Antonio since he will know that should he sign for them, he will be part of a team that can challenge for trophies.
