Out-of-favour West Ham man insists that he is happy

During an interview with the clubs official website, West Ham left-back Arthur Masuaku revealed his delight at being involved in the West Ham first team after not playing since the beginning of December.

After joining the Hammers from Greek club Olympiacos at the start of the season, the Frenchmen was expected to provide competition for Aaron Cresswell.

After being blighted by injuries the 23-year-old has endured a frustrating start to life at the London Stadium and has made only six Premier League appearances.

Masuaku has however revealed that the frustrating layoff has made him into a stronger player mentally and that he hopes to give stronger displays on the field.

He said, “I am much better in my head now because you come back a lot stronger mentally. You want to be stronger than what you were before and I feel that way. I feel fit now and I want to help the team in the future.”
