Free agent Peter Odemwingie has liked a tweet linking him with a move to Leeds United, according to HITC. After being released by Rotherham United at the end of last month, the former Nigerian national team player is searching for a new club.
Having failed to add a striker into their team last month, Leeds have only won one of their three matches this month.
Should Odemwingie be signed by the Whites, he will not be required to compete with Chris Wood for the main forward position at the club. His duties would entail competing with Marcus Antonsson for their back-up role.
However Odemwingie failed to establish himself while on the books of Rotherham and he was also sent off against Leeds United in November.
This may serve to put Gary Monk off from signing him. At the age of 35, it also remains to be seen whether he still boasts the ability to compete regularly.
