According to the Daily Star, Serie A giants AC Milan have told Everton to “name their price” as the Italian club look to complete the signing of in-form striker Romelu Lukaku.
Although Lukaku is in talks with the Merseyside club over a contract renewal, Milan are reportedly keen to add him to their squad as they work towards once again becoming a giant of European football.
Lukaku currently has two and a half years remaining on his Everton contract and despite Everton having a £75 million asking price for their prized asset, the Rossoneri have not been put off.
They are also set to receive a transfer budget boost of £140 million as the completion of a takeover from Chinese consortium Sino-Sports Europe is completed.
It remains to be seen whether Lukaku will indeed want to leave, but considering that he is settled at Everton, he will likely sign a contract renewal with the Toffees.
