Tottenham are set to battle Liverpool for the signature of Leicester star Demarai Gray, according to The Daily Star.
Tottenham have been reportedly monitoring the progress of the player and may bid for him if Leicester are relegated. Liverpool will also be looking to make new signings during the summer, especially given that they did not bring in any reinforcements during the January transfer period.
Gray joined Leicester just over a year ago after the Foxes paid Birmingham £3.75 million for his services. During 28 games in all competitions this season, he has bagged two goals and assisted in another two.
He has been one of the better players this season in what has been a struggle for the defending Premier League Champions.
Given the current form of Leicester, Gray will certainly be tempted by a move to Tottenham or Liverpool, considering the fact that as those teams are realistically more likely to challenge for silverware going forward.
