The Daily Mail have reported that England manager Gareth Southgate will be in attendance when West Ham take on West Brom on Saturday to assess the form of Andy Carroll.
After his fine form of late, Carroll could be in line to be handed an England recall. Southgate will be contemplating whether to include him in the England squad to face off against Germany and Lithuania in March.
Carroll has made nine appearances for the England national team with the last coming in October 2012 against San Marino. Injury problems and a lack of consistent form for club resulted in the striker being overlooked since.
Carroll seems to have rediscovered form recently having netted four goals in his last four matches for West Ham.
Jamie Vardy and Daniel Sturridge are currently low on confidence after a lack of goals recently and with Danny Welbeck having just recovered from injury, the chances are high that Carroll will be called up.
