Everton have been dealt a blow in their wishes to sign Franck Kessie with the player now appearing favorable towards a move to Roma according to HITC.
The 20-year-old Kessie has impressed many with his performances this season having netted six goals from midfield and drawing comparisons with fellow Ivory Coast international Yaya Toure.
The comparisons to the African legend Toure has certainly been valid judging by what the football world has seen from Kessie thus far. He has the ability to storm through defences with his pace and has a powerful ability to score goals from long distance, something which most coaches desire.
His performances have been so impressive that he has caught the attention of Manchester City, Inter Milan, Juventus, Arsenal and Chelsea.
According to Football Italia, Atalanta captain Alejandro Gomez appeared to confirm that Kessie has been snapped up by Roma. Everton will surely now regret why they did not bid higher for the player when they had the chance to do so.
