Pochettino expresses his one disappointment following Tottenham’s victory over Middlesbrough

Mauricio Pochettino has said that he is happy with his teams Saturday win over Middlesbrough, however he also feels that they need to be more clinical in attack.

Tottenham had numerous chances to open the scoring but only broke the deadlock in the 58th minute as Son Heung-Min was brought down in the penalty area by Espinosa Bernado and the red-hot Harry Kane made no mistake in slotting home the spot kick.

Pochettino told the Tottenham website, “We dominated the game, played very good football, created a lot of chances and we’re a little disappointed because you need to score more than one and not leave the game open.”

Tottenham were definitely good in defensive as they have been throughout the season.

However with the game against Liverpool coming up next week, they may need to work on their attack especially as the Reds are a very unpredictable side. That said, Tottenham should be favorites for the upcoming match based on current form.
