The Nottingham Post have reported that Aston Villa midfielder Aaron Tshibola will join Nottingham Forest on loan until the end of the season.
The promising 21-year-old was acquired from Reading over the summer for a fee of £5 million but has not managed to cement regular first team football for the Villians.
He is set to join Nottingham Forest where he is expected to gain more game time. Roberto Di Mateo is believed to have convinced the Villa board to sign Tshibola.
He made his debut for Reading during their 4-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest in August 2014 but spent majority of the 2014/15 season with Hartlepool on loan.
Tshibola started the first game under Steve Bruce but was not used until the Villa’s game against Cardiff City early in January. He scored one goal against Newcastle which came in September.
A move is likely to happen and will be good for Tshibola’s confidence. He is likely to get more game time.
