Sky Sports have reported that Liverpool, West Ham and Everton are all in the running to complete the signing of England goalkeeper Joe Hart during the summer.
Liverpool are reportedly the favorites to sign the 29-year-old as they look for a permanent goalkeeper after unconvincing displays from Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius. However, Everton should also be in with a chance.
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is not a fan of Hart and reportedly drew him out of the clubs plans. As a result, Hart opted for a loan move to Italian side Torino to gain regular playing time this season.
Though Joel Robles and Maarten Stekelenberg are fine goalkeepers, Everton manager Ronald Koeman aspires to win a Premier League title with the club and in order to do that, he must have world class players in all positions. Hart would certainly fit the bill as goalkeeper.
Everton have also been linked with impressive Burnley goalkeeper Tom Heaton ahead of next season.
