The Daily Mail reports that Leeds United are likely to capture West Ham striker Ashley Fletcher on loan for the remainder of the season.
The 21 year old joined the Hammers from Manchester United during the summer but has failed to impress, starting just three games and scoring just one goal in total which came in the EFL Cup quarter finals against Manchester United as West Ham lost 4-1.
The England under 21 international is reported to be keen on the switch to Elland Road and manager Gary Monk is said to be an admirer of the players work rate.
A move to Elland Road will be good for both clubs. It will allow Fletcher the opportunity to gain more confidence in front of goal as well as match experience which could be good for West Ham if they decide to recall him. His presence could also boost Leeds as they attempt to win promotion to the Premier League.
