With the transfer window deadline approaching on Tuesday, clubs across England are looking to do last minute purchases of players in order to get the best possible results ahead of the end of the season.
Everton manager Ronald Koeman has however said that buying new players can not always be a clubs solution to problems as reported during a column for De Telegraaf (Sport Witness – English).
To illustrate his point, Koeman provided the example of Everton’s 4-0 thrashing of Manchester City where the team finishes the game with two very young players.
The Dutchman did state that he can always bring in fresh players to Everton but always keeps his eye on players from the youth academy who are ready to transition to the senior team.
Koeman has also stated that he admires the attitudes of young English players and adds that players of that kind cannot be found from any other European country.
