According to reports from the Liverpool Echo, winger Lazar Markovic will not be returning to Anfield as his loan spell has failed and looks to be quickly approaching its end.

The young winger has failed to make an impression on loan at Sporting Lisbon, and Jurgen Klopp hasn’t been enthused at the youngster’s progress either.

The report states that the Serbian will be moving to Hull City on loan instead in order to hopefully finally acclimate to life in the Premier League.  Recently appointed Hull City manager Marco Silva is eager to reinvigorate the Tigers with new blood.

He’s already made some signings, and they are looking much tougher already.  This relegation scrap is going to be something else, as almost all of the sides at the bottom are looking improved.

With this move, Hull will get a versatile option that can play at wing back, on the wing, or in an attacking role in the center if needed.  Liverpool will get to see whether or not he can succeed in the league.

This looks very likely to happen at this point, and we should just be waiting to hear confirmation from the clubs involved.
