You read that correctly. Everton are interested in acquiring the services of a Terrier- Martin Terrier, or Lille that is. Terrier, only 19 years old, is thought to be the next target of Ronald Koeman, as he looks to build up a young and exciting side for the future.
After signing Ademola Lookman, who scored in his first match, and giving youngster Tom Davies a chance, Koeman is apparently looking toward France for another piece to his puzzle.
It is said in The Guardian’s writer tweet that West Ham are also interested in the young striker, who has only appeared nine times so far for his senior club side.
If Terrier has any sense about him and all of this is true, he’d be crazy to select West Ham over Everton. Everton are much more stable. They have a definitive playing style, a manager that knows what he wants, and they have a home ground where fans came be heard from.
West Ham offers none of those things at the moment, so if this gets done, look for it to be completed over the summer months at Goodison.
