West Brom have reportedly agreed on a deal for the Watford striker Odion Ighalo.
The report comes from Sky Sports, who believe that a potential deal in the region of £17m has been agreed between two sides.
West Brom have been desperately looking for a striker in the transfer market this month, but, this news would definitely be a surprise for many.
The 27-year-old was one of the best strikers in Premier League last season as he managed 15 goals in 37 appearances. His goalscoring form also saw him linked with a move to Louis Van Gaal’s Man Utd.
However, the Nigeria international has been a huge disappointment for the Hornets this season and has managed only one goal in 17 league appearances. A fee of £17m for a potential one-season wonder is sure to raise some eyebrows in the football circle.
