Report: Stoke to arrange swap deal for Berahino

It has emerged in the last few days that Stoke are interested in signing Saido Berahino away from West Brom. And now, according to the Express, they are willing to make Bojan Krkic part of the deal to do so.

Bojan, it has been speculated and reported, is not happy at Stoke at the moment. And it’s not been a very happy time for manager Mark Hughes either, as he’s been unimpressed with his play. Bojan hasn’t held down a firm spot in quite a while for the Potters.

The question becomes would Pulis be interested in Bojan? There’s no doubt that his West Brom side are much more progressive than any of his other sides have been in the past, but that’s still not a reason that he would sign Bojan.

The likelihood of the swap deal being done seems low to me. It seems easy for both teams to just say, “alright, here’s our players that want out- let’s swap’ em.” As a result, we don’t see the swap occurring. But surely this Berahino thing will come to an end soon. Then maybe we’ll be talking about Bojan for years!
