Promotion hopefuls Leeds Utd and Sheffield Wednesday are keeping tabs on Celtic full-back Emilio Izaguirre, according to a report from the Sun.
Both Yorkshire clubs currently sit in the top six and aim to strengthen their respective squads for the push towards promotion in the second half of the season.
The Honduran international has only six months left on his contract with the Hoops, and, he has shown no signs of signing a new deal.
Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers reportedly wants to keep the player at the club, but, the 30-year-old is not happy playing a back-up to young Kieran Tierney in the Celtic setup.
The report added that the player is keen on a move in January, and, wants to join a side where he will be guaranteed regular playing time.
Izaguirre has made more than 170 league appearances for the Hoops since joining the club in 2010 and has won five league titles.
