Though no one has quite said it yet, we’re sure someone will soon.  Geoff Cameron, the versatile American player, is close to a making a comeback for Stoke City.  Someone will say it’s like a new signing eventually if given enough time!

Cameron is a great player to have around because he can play at a number of positions including right back, center back, and defensive midfield.  He’s done a more than adequate job at each spot in the past, and he’s been a key player for Stoke down the years when he’s been healthy.  That looks to continue for sure.

Cameron, who has been out since October looks to be fairly close to a return to action as he is said to be hopeful of playing next month, according to the Stoke Sentinel.  Cameron has been in California recovering- not too bad against the weather of England this time of year.

Look for Cameron to come in and do a job for Mark Hughes’ side when he does get back.  He’ll be used all over the place to cover for the more attacking players.
