According to reports from Calcio Mercato, Manchester United are currently discussions with AC Milan over the departure of Memphis Depay.
Depay failed to impress during his debut campaign at Manchester United last season and things have become even worse for the Dutch international this term as he has been awarded hardly any playing time by manager Jose Mourinho.
As a result, it is widely expected that Depay will be leaving Old Trafford on a permanent basis during the current January transfer window and Premier League outfit Everton had been seen as a potential destination for the young man.
In reports from the Calcio Mercato though, revelations can now be made that United are instead in talks with Italian outfit AC Milan regarding the departure of Depay.
While United are only willing to allow Depay to leave permanently, Milan want to sign the ex-PSV star on a loan deal and it will be interesting to see if the transfer will come into fruition this month.
