Klopp Reportedly Draws up Impressive 6-Winger Shortlist for Liverpool

According to the Independent, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is keen to add to his attacking options in the January transfer window, and he has drawn up a shortlist of contenders to bring.

Each of the players are players that can be utilized on the wings, but some of them can be shuffled around to fit into other areas as well.

The six names reported are PSG’s Jese Rodriguez, Red Bull Leipzig Emil Forsberg, Spartak Moscow’s Quincy Promes, Bayer Leverkusen’s Julian Brandt, Arsenal’s Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, and Inter Milan’s Gabriel Barbosa.

Each of the six men have a lot of common traits: they are young and capable of playing on the wings.  They are also each very fit and would be able to press well.

Liverpool are currently without their star Philippe Coutinho, often used on the left wing and their right winger Senegal international Sadio Mane.  It appears that Liverpool are very desperate to make a signing to not only cover for what they are missing, but to also consolidate and maybe even improve upon their position in the league.  Despite Klopp’s hatred of the January transfer window, it looks like one of these deals will get done soon!
