According to reports from Gazzetta Dello Sport (via Daily Mirror), Matteo Darmian will be leaving Manchester United to join Italian giants Inter Milan
On the back of his fine performances for Torino and the Italian national team at the 2014 FIFA World Cup, Darmian had managed to earn a move to Premier League giants Manchester United during the summer of 2015.
Darmian enjoyed a solid start to life at Old Trafford but eventually started to struggle and the 26-year-old has seen very little game time during the current campaign so far under manager Jose Mourinho.
It is clear to see that Darmian has been viewed as only a backup by Mourinho and there has been widespread speculation that the full-back will be looking to leave United during the January transfer window in search of regular first team football.

A host of clubs across Italy are interested in signing Darmian and now according to reports emerging out of Gazzetta Dello Sport, claims have been made that Italian giants Inter Milan are set to acquire the services of the defender.
The report states that Darmian will be moving to the San Siro on a loan deal till the end of the season and Inter will have the option of turning the transfer into a permanent one next summer.
