Manchester United are said to be monitoring the Alvaro Morata situation at Real Madrid and may be looking to bring the striker to Old Trafford, according to El Confidencial.
Morata had a decent season for Juventus where he registered 10 goals and 7 assists in all competitions for the Italian outfit, but Madrid would exercise their buy-back clause and bring the Spaniard back for a fee of €30 million.
Jose Mourinho is said to be looking to further bolster his striking options and the reported fee to bring the striker to Manchester is told to be £45 million.
At the moment, the Paul Pogba situation is currently dominating the transfer news out of Old Trafford, but it appears that United are still looking to further add to their attack with Morata, who is allegedly available.
The 23-year-old Morata is going to face stiff competition from Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema for minutes in the Madrid attack, so it may be best for Los Blancos if they can sell the young striker for a profit.
Morata is a decent player and has the potential to become a top striker, but £45 million is a large sum when United already have Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Wayne Rooney, Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford all capable of playing striker.
