Boost for Arsenal as star striker reportedly wants Emirates move

Lacazette

The Daily Telegraph has reported that Arsenal target Alexandre Lacazette is keen on moving to the Emirates this summer before the end of the transfer window.

However, Lyon and Arsenal are still not particularly close to agreeing to a transfer fee. Lyon want at least £40 million for their star striker, but the Gunners have not offered this high of a fee.

Although Lacazette would like to play for the Gunners, Lyon manager Bruno Genesio has reportedly tried to convince Lacazette to stay, as he is such a vital member of their team.

According to the report, Lacazette is unlikely to publicly demand a move to Arsenal.

Arsenal and Lyon seem to be apart in terms of agreeing to a transfer fee, so it still seems like Lacazette will remain with Lyon. However, the recent reports of his desire to join the Gunners should increase their chances of getting him at least a little.
