Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba has been heavily linked with a return to Manchester United and it seems like the Red Devils are about to get their man.
Most Italian and UK media report that Pogba is on the verge of signing for United, but there are still some final details to be ironed out between the clubs.
However, the Daily Mail are reporting United have already completed a world-record £100m deal to bring Pogba back to Old Trafford and the English giants are about to officially announce the signing.
The report claims Pogba has already passed his United medical in Los Angeles before putting pen to paper on a five-year deal worth £290,000 a week.
However, Mino Raiola was quick to deny the claims a deal has been struck between Juventus and Manchester United through his official twitter account.
Pogba’s agent posted a harsh message to the journalists covering the Pogba transfer saga, comparing them to parrots and suggesting the Italian and UK media don’t really know anything about the negotiations.
Raiola’s denial that an agreement has been reached is perfectly natural as the deal is yet to be announced by either club, so his statement doesn’t really change anything.
The Daily Mail has probably jumped the gun with their report as the other news outlets are all saying the paperwork is yet to be completed, but Pogba is still widely expected to seal a move to Old Trafford in the near future.
