Sunderland are yet to make a bid for Manchester United duo Adnan Januzaj and Marouane Fellaini, according to the Sunderland Echo.
The report claims Sunderland’s newly-appointed manager, David Moyes, wants to bring the two Belgians to the Stadium of Light this summer, but the Black Cats are yet to make contact with the Red Devils.
Januzaj, who has been left out of United’s 23-man squad to face Galatasaray in Gothenburg on Saturday, has been linked with a loan move away from Old Trafford in recent weeks.
His failure to make the squad for the friendly game against the Turkish giants probably means he’s not part of Mourinho’s plans for next season.
Moving to Sunderland on loan would be a great move for Januzaj, especially considering the fact the winger played his best football under Moyes’ guidance 3 years ago.
Januzaj’s compatriot, MarouaneFellaini, has been included in the squad for the game in Sweden, but Moyes is reportedly keen to bring the 28-year-old to Wearside.
Moyes has already worked with Fellaini at two of his former clubs – Everton and Manchester United.
Mourinho is thought to be keen to keep Fellaini in the squad, but things could quickly change if United receive a tempting offer for the Belgian.
