Report: Agent to meet club over potential Manchester United transfer

Paul Pogba

Mino Raiola will meet Juventus today to discuss Paul Pogba’s future, according to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio.

Raiola spent the past few days in Miami, where he met with Pogba, but has now reportedly returned to Italy to resume the discussions with the Juventus officials about his client’s immediate future.

Pogba is widely expected to finalize his return to Manchester United in the next few days, but it seems like the deal is fairly complicated and the negotiations are still ongoing.

The Frenchman is still on his post-Euro 2016 vacation in Miami, but this hasn’t stopped the rumours about his future as Raiola’s job is to negotiate with the clubs on Pogba’s behalf.

Manchester United’s first competitive game of the season is less than two weeks from now and Jose Mourinho will surely want to have Pogba at his disposal by the end of next week.

The Portuguese manager is not a fan of the long-drawn transfer sagas, so if Pogba isn’t a Manchester United player by the time the season starts, Mourinho would probably decide to switch his attention towards another midfielder.
