Report: Manchester United on the verge of signing Championship star

Old Trafford

Manchester United are close to securing the signature of 17-year-old Brentford midfielder Joshua Bohui, according to the Daily Mail.

The report claims Bohui has impressed on trial at United’s Carrington training ground and is set to become a part of the club’s Under-18 team.

Bohui, who can play in midfield and up front, would alsobe available to play for Warren Joyce’s title-winning reserve side.

United are reportedly determined to improve their academy by both hiring better scouts and signing some of the most promising youngsters in Europe.

The English giants have already strengthened their youth team with the signings of teenage attackers Nishan Burkart from FC Zurich and Tahith Chong from Feyenoord and it appears as though United are not planning to stop their recruitment drive anytime soon.

If the report is to be believed, Bohui will be able to work under some of the best coaches in English football and continue his development at a club famous for giving youngsters a chance to shine in the senior squad.
