Report: Liverpool ready to enter £15 million transfer agreement

Liverpool’s 20 year-old winger Jordan Ibe is set for talks with Premier League side Bournemouth after his manager Jurgen Klopp accepted a £15m transfer fee for the player’s services next season, according to British news source Dailystar.co.uk.

Ibe looked certain to make his mark at Anfield under former manager Brendan Rogers, but with the arrival of Klopp and a dip in his form, he’s been having difficulty securing first-team football.

Ibe started his youth career with the Wycombe Wanderers before moving to Liverpool in 2012 for an undisclosed fee.

He then spent brief spells on loan, first to Birmingham City and then Derby County, before finding a more regular spot on the wing for the Reds last season, managing 4 goals in a total of 41 appearances.

The young player’s chances of first-team football if he stayed would look increasingly unlikely following the Red’s acquisition of Southampton’s Sadio Mane for £30m.

It’s been reported that Southampton and Watford were also interested in Ibe, but were unwilling to meet the £15m price-tag.
