West Ham United are closing in on the signing of Arsenal youngster Tyrell Robinson, according to the Daily Mail.
The report suggests West Ham have offered Robinson a two-year deal to move to the Olympic Stadium this summer.
The 18-year old, who can play on either wing and at left-back, signed his first professional contract with Arsenal in January 2015.
Robinson enjoyed a good 2015/16 season, scoring 7 goals in 15 games for the Under-18’s.
The fast and technically gifted player also enjoyed a spell in Arsenal’s Under-21’s as cover for Brandon Ormonde-Ottewill at left-back.
Despite his impressive performances last season, it appears as though Robinson is about to move across London to West Ham.
Given West Ham’s Europa League participation next season, Robinson would get plenty of chances to impress SlavenBilic.
Wenger is famous for giving young players a chance in Arsenal’s first team and Robinson’s time would have come sooner rather than later.
That being said, if the player has chosen to leave Arsenal this summer, he probably believes he’d have a better chance of first-team football at West Ham.
