Agent reveals Manchester United and Real Madrid both interested in 17-year-old striker

Speaking to Radio CRC, the agent of Leandrinho has gone on to reveal that giants Manchester United and Real Madrid are both interested in securing the services of the striker

Brazil seemingly possess a factory which perpetually produces talented young players and teenage sensation Leandrinho is the next emerging star who could potentially set world football alight in the next few years.

Leandrinho is currently plying his trade for Ponte Preta and has managed to impress, scoring 8 goals in just 9 appearances so far this season.

In addition, the 17-year-old starred for the Brazilian national team at the South American U-17 Championship in 2015, where his goals proved to be crucial in guiding the young Selecao to victory in the tournament.

Naturally, Leandrinho’s exploits have seen him being linked with a move to Europe and now his agent has gone on to reveal that the likes of Manchester United and Real Madrid are keen on the striker’s services.

Speaking to Radio CRC, he said, “Both Manchester clubs want to sign him and Real Madrid had sounded out on his availability in the past. He is only 17 but he has the personality of a great footballer.”

The agent added that despite the interest from the giants, he wants Leandrinho to join Italian side Napoli, adding, “I’m doing everything possible to bring the player to Napoli, but lot of clubs are chasing him.

“I am trying to bring him to Naples. I want to convince his family. English clubs offer lot of money, but Napoli have a project.”

“He can’t sign any contract before January 2017, when he’ll turn 18. He’s a pure striker. He has scored eight goals in 9 games this season.”
