Manchester United are ready to sign 34-year-old Zlatan Ibrahimovic on a 1-year contract before the start of EURO 2016, as per Sky Sources.
The Swede is expected to sign the contract before Sweden’s first game in the EURO 2016 that will take place on June 13th. The striker will sign for them for free after his contract with PSG expired at the end of last season.
While he will cost them nothing initially, it is expected that Zlatan will earn more than £250,000 per week at his new club.
Mourinho has been a huge influence in bringing the Swede to Old Trafford. The pair worked together at Inter Milan before the Portuguese left them for Real Madrid. Although he is 34, Ibrahimovic is showing no signs of slowing down. He scored 38 goals in the French league last season to help PSG claim the Ligue 1 title.
After the arrival of Ibrahimovic, competition for places in the Manchester United striking department is likely to increase. With Rooney, Martial and Rashford already at the helm, the arrival of Zlatan Ibrahimovic is likely to be an amazing prospect for the Red devils.
