Telegraph Sport reports that teenage sensation, Marcus Rashford has signed a new long-term contract with his boy-hood club, Manchester United and is now believed to be earning around £20,000-a-week.
In a span of a few months, Rashford has made his first team debut with United and most recently his senior international debut for England, famously scoring in both matches.
Incoming manager, Jose Mourinho, has a reputation for not playing younger players, however, the star of Rashford may be too hard to sit as the young Englishman appears to be the real deal.
Mourinho reportedly would like to add to the strike force during the summer transfer window but for right now Rashford along with Anthony Martial are the best options at forward for the Portuguese manager.
Rashford’s youthfulness and qualities have been a breath of fresh air up front for United as the youngster has out performed well established stars such as Wayne Rooney, Robin van Persie, and Radamel Falcao during the now infamous Louis van Gaal reign.
If United do indeed bring in some summer signings that will help their front line, there is no doubt that Rashford’s playing time will be decreased but after his remarkable start, the English international will certainly have his chances next season.
