Speaking to Sky Sports, John Terry has gone on to urge Ryan Giggs to remain at Manchester United to support Jose Mourinho
Jose Mourinho has recently been appointed as manager of Manchester United and one can be sure that the Portuguese tactician will be making a host of changes at Old Trafford in order to turn the Red Devils’ fortunes around.
Initially, Mourinho is likely to make alterations within the staff and reports have widely claimed that former manager Louis van Gaal’s assistant, Ryan Giggs, could be shown the door by the 53-year-old.

Conversely, there have also been suggestions that Mourinho could keep Giggs at Old Trafford but in a reduced coaching capacity, in order to facilitate the arrival of his long time aide Rui Faria for the assistant manager role at the club.
Chelsea legend John Terry has now gone on to speak regarding United’s appointment of Mourinho and has expressed his hope that Giggs will stay put at United in order to help his former manager out.
Terry wants Giggs to stay put at United
Terry told Sky Sport, “It’s fantastic news for Manchester United. I’m sure that United’s fans and players will be delighted with that because, as I’ve said many times before, he’s the best manager I’ve worked under.
“It was unfortunate the way it ended at Chelsea this year but I wish him well because he’s also a great man. He’ll be great for Manchester United, I’m sure.
“The weather is slightly different maybe… but it’s a fantastic place to be and I’m sure he’ll settle in well with the likes of Ryan Giggs – hopefully he’ll stay and support him as well.”
