Along with Mata, Mourinho’s arrival could be bad news for another Manchester United man

The imminent arrival of Jose Mourinho could spell bad news for Luke Shaw, as suggested by the Daily Star

Jose Mourinho is on the verge of being appointed as manager of Manchester United and there is certainly a lot of excitement surrounding the arrival of the Portuguese tactician.

However, some United fans are not totally on board with the idea of Mourinho as manager due to his ‘defensive’ tactics as well as record of falling out with players.

Current United star Juan Mata is one of the men whom Mourinho does not get along with, as evidenced by their time together at Chelsea, and it is believed that the Portuguese manager’s arrival could spell the end of the attacking midfielder’s time at Old Trafford.

Now according to reports from the Daily Star, another player who could now be concerned about his future at Old Trafford is left back Luke Shaw.

Shaw is currently nursing himself back to full fitness following a horror leg break last season and the defender was expected to be United’s first choice left back during the upcoming campaign.

However, Shaw may well have to reconsider his future at Old Trafford due to the arrival of Mourinho. It has been revealed that Shaw rejected a chance to join Chelsea, the club he supported, in 2014 as he was intimidated with the prospect of working with Mourinho and he may not relish the chance now as well.
