The United States Men’s National Team and Ecuador will continue on their pre-Copa America warm-ups when they face-off in a friendly this Wednesday, May 25, 2016 (5:00 PM Pacific) at the Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas. Both sides are contenders to reach the later stages of the upcoming tournament, therefore this match will be interesting to watch.
The team coached by Jurgen Klinsmann enters this match after defeating Puerto Rico 3-1 during the weekend with an alternate team. This Wednesday, the official roster which will participate in next month’s Copa America will play their first warm-up. It will be interesting to note how Klinsmann begins to form a strating line-up where there are no sure starters on any position.
For Ecuador, this will be the only friendly prior to the start of the competition. Coach Gustavo Quinteros will use this game to decide who will be one of the starting forwards after Espanyol star Felipe Caicedo will miss the competition following an injury,
