After fielding a full-blooded team against Chelsea in the midweek at Anfield, Liverpool will travel to West Bromwich Albion in their last fixture of this Premier League season.

Despite having much higher priorities than this fixture, Jurgen Klopp would be wary of the importance of this fixture, as they need a win on Sunday in order to keep their European hopes alive for next season.

As suggested by the importance of the Europa League final that will take place next mid-week, Jurgen Klopp would field a fairly emaciated Liverpool side on Sunday.

As a result, players like Sergi Canos and Cameron Brannagan are expected to be a part of the Liverpool Starting XI.

Although the aforementioned duo is starting its life in Liverpool, there could be one player in the Liverpool lineup on Sunday that might be playing his last game in Liverpool colors.

Despite costing the Reds a hefty 32.5 Million Pounds last summer, Benteke has failed to hold down a permanent spot under Jurgen Klopp.

Thus, with the likes of West Ham hovering over Liverpool for Benteke, it is expected that the Belgian would leave Liverpool in the summer.

One major decision that Klopp might have to take in regard to this fixture would be the inclusion of Joe Allen.

Liverpool weren’t at their best in the absence of the Welshman against Chelsea and the Liverpool supporters would urge Klopp to keep him in his plans for their team’s trip to Basel.

Thus, if Klopp shares the same opinion, he might consider resting Allen on Sunday. However, looking at the options available on the bench, the aforementioned scenario of resting Joe Allen looks highly unlikely.

Apart from Simon Mignolet, who will be deputizing for Liverpool between the sticks, it is expected that the Liverpool back four would include names of Conor Randall and Brad Smith on the full back spots.
