Barcelona Strongest Possible Lineup vs Granada: Not too many changes for title decider

Luis Enrique

Barcelona have been magnificent this season but surprisingly, there is a possibility that the Catalan giants could end the campaign empty handed.

Despite dominating most of the season, Barcelona have not yet sealed the La Liga title and anything less than a victory over Granada in the final game of the campaign on Saturday could unfathomably see Luis Enrique’s men lose their crown to rivals Real Madrid.

Barcelona are certainly overwhelming favourites to get the job done but the Blaugrana will need to hold their nerve on the day and hope that there is no mishap whatsoever.

Here is the strongest possible Barcelona lineup for the clash against Granada –

Goalkeeper

With Claudio Bravo ruled out, Marc-Andre ter Stegen will be starting in goal once again for Barcelona. The German youngster did not have much to do in the encounter against Espanyol last weekend but he will surely have to be on his guard on Saturday due to the enormity of the clash.

Defence

Thomas Vermaelen remains ruled out but irrespective, Luis Enrique does not seem like he will make any changes to the backline consisting of Jordi Alba, Dani Alves, Gerard Pique and Javier Mascherano.

The quartet have been in fine form all season and they will be hopeful of earning a fifth consecutive clean sheet for Barcelona on the day. Jeremy Mathieu, Aleix Vidal and Marc Bartra remain the other options to choose from.

Midfield

In midfield, Enrique is also likely to resist the temptation of making any changes and the trio of Andres Iniesta, Ivan Rakitic and Sergio Busquets will be lining up once again.

Arda Turan and Sergi Roberto will surely be introduced if things are not going according to plan but Enrique will surely hope that he does not have to face such a situation.

Attack

There is no doubting whatsoever that the wonderful trio of Luis Suarez, Lionel Messi and Neymar will be starting in attack.

The three superstars have illuminated La Liga with their brilliant performances throughout the course of the campaign and will look to cap it all off by guiding Barca to victory over Granada and hence to the title.
