Antonio Conte wants to sign Juventus star Alvaro Morata this summer, according to reports from the Gazzetta World.

Chelsea are widely expected to go through a major overhaul in the summer and incoming boss Antonio Conte is said to have already instructed the Blues’ hierarchy to pursue his desired transfer targets upon the conclusion of the current Premier League campaign next week.

Conte wants Morata at Chelsea

Conte is believed to be widely targeting players from the Serie A and now in fresh links, it can be revealed that the Italian boss wants Juventus striker Alvaro Morata at Stamford Bridge next season.

Morata is considered as one of the finest young strikers in the world at the moment and while his 11 goals in 45 appearances for Juventus is not exactly off the charts, the Spaniard’s complete overall game has made him a player of desire for many top teams.

It was recently reported that the likes of Real Madrid, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are all interested in securing the services of Morata and now according to the Gazzetta World, claims have been made that Chelsea have also joined in the race.

Madrid hold the aces in the chase for the 23-year old as they possess a buyback agreement with Juventus of around €30million but Chelsea are believed to be very keen and are ready to match the Old Lady’s asking price upwards of €48million.
