Louis Van Gaal has accepted that he will be pleased to see Leicester crowned champions, but hopes Manchester United can postpone their celebrations for one more week. Leicester City will be crowned Champions of England if they defeat Manchester United on the weekend at The Theatre of Dreams.

“It’s good for the Premier League and the sport of football that not always the same teams are the champion,” said the Dutchman to MUTV. Manchester United are keen to stopping Leicester City from clinching the title this weekend.

Manchester United also needs to make sure that they win the match to keep the hopes alive for reaching top-four European spots, and earning the coveted Champions League spot it awards.

Leicester needs only one win from the 3 remaining games, as they are already 7 points clear of 2nd placed Tottenham. Tottenham faces Chelsea on Monday night at Stamford Bridge, which will be a difficult visit for them. Moreover, Spurs are going to miss Dele Alli due to a ban by the FA.
