Manchester United defeated West Ham 2-1 in the FA Cup quarter-finals and earned a spot in the semi-finals. It was a great team effort all around, with goals from Fellaini and Rashford, as well as good performances from Anthony Martial and Fosu-Mensah.
However, the fan favorite of the night was De Gea, the Spanish keeper put up a clinic, and was instrumental in earning the win for Manchester United. Red Devils fans took to Twitter to let everyone know about De Gea’s fantastic performance.
With a Champions League spot at risk, and the EPL title lost, an FA Cup trophy is the only positive that Louis van Gaal could bring to Old Trafford this season. Fans will definitely pile on the pressure for the semi-finals, as winning the FA Cup will be the #2 priority (a Champions League spot will always be #1).
