A win Saturday night against a difficult visitor like Club America will raise their point total to 15, and would land them scratching for a playoff seed.
Club America has improved their as the season has got older, and that reflects on their third place position. With 21 points, 22 goals in favor and 15 goals against, the ‘aguilas’ are in 3rd place where a win against Chiapas could potentially place them in first place were Monterrey lose. Some concerns for coach Ignacio Ambriz are that forwards Oribe Peralta (recently injured) and Dario Benedetto (returns from injury) may not be in full form to dictate Club America’s offense.
