Jose Mourinho wants Tottenham star at Manchester United

Harry Kane

Jose Mourinho has identified Tottenham striker as his top target if he becomes Manchester United next manager, according to ESPN FC.

Mourinho is currently the frontrunner to replace current Manchester United manager Louis Van Gaal and it wouldn’t surprise many if “the Special One” was at Old Trafford at the end of this season.

The Independent on Sunday claim that the Red Devils are prepared to pay £60 million for the Tottenham star man.

Mourinho was impressed with Kane’s performance in the 5-3 win against Chelsea last season and is a fan of the striker. He believes Kane’s high workrate and intensity, along with his pace and power would only strengthen United’s squad.

Sources say however that Tottenham consider Kane unsellable and are confident that he’ll be at White Hart Lane next season.

The 22-year old is proving critics wrong that his performance last season was a fluke. He’s currently the top scorer in the Premier League with 21 goals.

It’s also known that Kane is excited about the progress under manager Mauricio Pochettino and is excited about the future of Tottenham. I’d expect for Kane to stay at White Hart Lane.

Do you think Kane will go to Manchester United?
