Arsene Wenger has now entered the mix to secure the signature of midfielder Emre Mor, according to reports from the Independent.
The Gunners will likely be battling fellow Premier League side Southampton to bring in the highly praised Danish youth. At only 18 years old, Wenger will be looking for Mor be a long-term contributor to the squad.
Mor currently plays for Danish side FC Nordsjaland, and has attracted attention from major clubs including Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund.
After beginning his youth career at Lyngby Boldklub, the midfielder recently made his move to senior-team plays along with making appearances for the Danish U-17, U-18, and U-19 squads.
Teams have recognized how rapidly Mor has improved his talents, appearing increasingly confident on the pitch as he gains experience at the senior level.
Wenger appears to be keen on attracting young, athletic players to the Emirates during the January transfer window, possibly implying that the long-time Arsenal boss believes his team must play fast through the middle of the pitch if they hope to hold their place at the top of the Premier League table.
