Italian print publication Forza has revealed that Manchester United are plotting a move for Lazio star Felipe Anderson. The 22-year-old Brazilian has really made a name for himself since moving to the Serie A from Brazilian side Santos almost three years ago.
United are in desperate need of some new attacking talent and the Brazilian may well be the guy to provide them that. Anderson has scored five goals and set up another three since in 25 appearances this season. His last season was his most successful till date as he scored 11 goals and assisted another 10 over the duration of the entire year.
It’s hard to imagine what Manchester United would do with a player of this calibre right now simply because they are so in need of goals. Juan Mata is the Red Devils’ top scorer this campaign with just five goals to his name.
United are in need of some established star who can surely have an impact on their play, and Felipe Anderson looks to be one candidate. A 22m pound Manchester United move for the player is expected once the transfer window opens up as the former English giants make an attempt to get back to winning ways.
