Manchester United set to bring back popular star to the club in January

Manchester United are looking to cut short Adnan Januzaj’s loan deal at Borussia Dortmund, according to reports from the Daily Mirror

Januzaj was surprisingly allowed to join German side Borussia Dortmund on loan during the summer by Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal.

Nonetheless, it was believed at the time that the move could prove to be a beneficial one for Januzaj as he was set to be awarded regular minutes on the pitch, which would otherwise not have been available at United.

As it has turned out though, Januzaj has not been handed too many opportunities in the Borussia Dortmund first team by manager Thomas Tuchel and this can be evidenced by the fact that the Belgian international has featured in only 139 minutes of action in the German Bundesliga so far.

United are said to be less than happy with Januzaj not being handed enough time on the pitch and now according to reports from the Daily Mirror, it has been claimed that the Red Devils are considering recalling the winger from the Signal Iduna Park.

Allied by the fact that Januzaj has been consigned to the bench for majority of the season, United are themselves in need of options in the wide positions due to the poor form of Memphis Depay and Antonio Valencia, and the Mirror report that van Gaal wants the 20-year old loanee back at Old Trafford.
