Manchester United return to EPL action this weekend when they face Everton at Goodison park, and they received positive news with the return of Bastian Schweinsteiger. He tweeted his return to Manchester after the international break.

Schweinsteiger suffered a thigh injury in the warm up, before the defeat against Ireland last weekend, and now faces a battle to get fit before the clash with Everton. United will be hoping for a swift recovery for Schweinsteiger and to their own fortunes following the disastrous result at the Emirates.
United had signed Schweinsteiger for the experience he would bring to the big games, but that experience accounted for little when Arsenal easily cut through the heart of Uniteds’ midfield, made up of Schweinsteiger and Carrick. After a slow start to the campaign it seemed Schweinsteiger had found some fitness and was starting to dictate games in the manner that was expected from him, the Arsenal result and more so the performance was certainly a set back and this latest injury may add more pressure.
United will want to be at their strongest, the last visit to Goodison was not pleasant as United suffered a 3-0 defeat. In recent years Goodison has become somewhat of a bogey ground for United and Van Gaal can ill afford any more set backs at this stage of the season.
