Juan Mata, the in-form Manchester United midfielder, led his team to a 2-1 victory over German side Wolfsburg in the Champions League.
The Spanish National was, without a doubt, the star player on Wednesday, scoring a goal, creating the assist in Chris Smalling’s goal, and having an impeccable passing accuracy all throughout the match (98%).

Mata’s distribution of the ball was fantastic, he was involved in nearly all attacking opportunities, and was definitely a determining factor in the Manchester United win over the German side. Mata is in hot-form, in the last match against Sunderland, Mata had another similarly great performance, scoring a goal, creating an assist, and a 92% pass accuracy. Again, he was involved in most of the attacking plays, and was a key factor in the win.

Mata has consolidated himself as a started in Loui van Gaal’s squad, and he has proven to be both an effective creator, as well as an opportunistic goal scorer. The midfielder will play a key role this season, as Manchester United make a run for the Premier League and Champions League.
