Manchester United “agree” £25million swoop for star

According to reports emerging from the Netherlands, Manchester United have agreed a deal to sign PSV Eindhoven star Memphis Depay.

It looks like Manchester United have managed to achieve their ambition of finishing in the top four this season and overall, it has to be said that the campaign has been a successful one for the Red Devils.

Now the fans will be expecting United to challenge for the Premier League title next season and manager Louis van Gaal will surely be looking to strengthen his ranks over the upcoming summer by recruiting a couple of new players.

As a result, a couple of names have already started being linked with a move to Old Trafford and one name which has been incessantly touted to join United is PSV Eindhoven star Memphis Depay.

Depay has been in fantastic form this season and has played a huge role in helping PSV to the Eredivisie title, scoring 26 goals in 37 appearances.

The 21-year old now looks destined to make a move to one of the top leagues in Europe and Premier League giants Manchester United have widely been reported to be a likely destination for the young Dutchman due to the presence of van Gaal.

To further fuel speculation regarding Depay’s move to Old Trafford, reports emerging out of Netherlands have claimed that United have already agreed on a deal to sign the winger.

As reported by Dutch magazine Voetbal International (via the Metro), United have struck an agreement worth £25million to sign Depay and it is now a done deal.
