Manchester United have been able to complete a couple of major coup over the transfer window by being able to lure the likes of Angel Di Maria, Radamel Falcao and Ander Herrera to the club over the summer but one man the Red Devils will not be able to lure to Old Trafford is Dutch superstar Wesley Sneijder.
Sneijder had been incessantly linked with a move to Manchester United for quite a while now but the transfer has never come into fruition.

With former Netherlands national team manager Louis van Gaal being appointed as manager of United over the summer though, it was believed that Sneijder would finally be making a move to Old Trafford.
It is no secret that Van Gaal is a huge admirer of Sneijder’s abilities and the 62-year old reuniting with the Galatasaray star at Manchester had been seen as a realistic possibility by many.

However, to pour cold water to the speculation that he will be making a move to United any time soon, Sneijder has stated that the Red Devils will not be able to tempt him to Old Trafford.
Sneijder did admit that he was flattered to hear that van Gaal is interested in him but stated that he is in no mood of leaving Galatasaray as he is settled in Turkey.
Sneijder not interested in United move
Sneijder said, “It’s great to hear that van Gaal is interested in me, he is a footballing genius. However, I doubt Manchester United could tempt me to leave Galatasaray right now, I don’t see it happening.
“Everything is going well for me in Istanbul and I have settled into life in Turkey and feel at home. I don’t even know why we keep talking about this. Galatasaray will not be letting me go for a cheap price. It is very unlikely that any deal will happen.”
Although currently in the twilight of his career, Sneijder has been enjoying a bit of a renaissance at Galatasaray and has been in fine form during the last 12 months or so.
