Manchester United to sign another teenage sensation

Despite Manchester United spending over £150million this summer so far, it is still expected that a couple of new names will be arriving at Old Trafford before the transfer window slams shut tomorrow.

As a result, illustrious names such as Arturo Vidal, William Carvalho and Nigel De Jong have been strongly linked with the Red Devils over the past few days and it will not be a surprise to see any one among the three players being unveiled as a United player by end the window.

Dele Alli being lined up by United

However, in a surprising link – it has been reported that Louis van Gaal is looking to sign Milton Keynes Dons’ wonderkid Dele Alli within the next 24-36 hours.

Alli starred during MK Dons’ thumping of Manchester United in midweek and apart from his wonderful performance against the Red Devils, the midfielder is considered one of the finest young talents to emerge from England in recent times.

Alli is considered a bright prospect for the future

Having made his debut for Dons at the tender age of 16 and has since gone on strength to strength. Only 18 at the moment, Alli has already amassed 50 professional appearances and has understandably caught the attention of a host of Premier League clubs.

Manchester United are among the many top clubs who have been monitoring Alli over the past year or so and are now sufficiently impressed to make a bid.

Alli could flourish at United

While Dons are surely not looking to part with their prized asset, it is believed that the League One side will not be able to keep hold of the prodigious talent if a good offer comes along.

Manchester United are admittedly going through a crisis at the moment but the Red Devils have historically been a good breeding ground for youngsters and Alli can certainly flourish at United if indeed the move does go through.
